Nohemi Mena Hernandez is a Senior Sustainability and Technical Consultant with a strong background in sustainable innovation, energy engineering, and green building certification. She holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Sustainable Innovation and Energy and has been actively working on third-party certifications for new and existing buildings since 2021, supporting projects across the United States and Mexico.

Nohemi specializes in technical sustainability services including energy modeling, daylight analysis, thermal comfort assessments, and passive ventilation computational fluid dynamics (CFD). Her work supports high-performance building design and informed decision-making throughout design and construction phases. She has led and contributed to the successful achievement of EDGE, LEED BD+C, and LEED O+M certifications for more than 20 projects, guiding teams through documentation, technical analysis, and quality assurance.

In addition to her project work, Nohemi has experience in commissioning activities and emissions-focused analysis, aligning building performance with decarbonization and climate resilience goals. She is passionate about integrating social equity, health, and environmental performance into sustainability strategies, reflecting a holistic approach to the built environment.

Nohemi is also an experienced educator and presenter, having imparted LEED BD+C, LEED O+M, and ARC workshops to diverse audiences. She has participated in international sustainability initiatives and technical assistance efforts, including contributions to net-zero carbon roadmap development and introductory LEED training programs.
