Silver – LEED for Schools (2010)
GreeNexus assisted Steele & Freeman, Inc. with construction-related LEED credits for multiple Keller school facilities in Keller, Texas, including:
- Timberview Intermediate School (LEED-Silver certification)
- Ridgeview Elementary School No. 22 (LEED certified)
The schools focused on low-emitting materials to ensure good indoor air quality– which is critical to student health. Additional emphasis was placed on optimized energy performance, and Ridgeview Elementary School included a solar panel array with online monitoring to enhance student education.
